World Lung Day 2025

The World Lung Day 2025 observance was held at 2:00 PM in September 2025 at Al Azhar College of Pharmacy, organized by IQAC in association with the Department of Pharmacology. Centered on the theme “Healthy Lungs, Healthy Life,” the programme featured a seminar by Dr. Deepa Davis, Assistant Professor, Department of Pulmonology, Al Azhar Medical College, who spoke on the importance of lung health, preventive care, and lifestyle practices that support respiratory well-being. The event began with a warm welcome by Dr. Shyam Kumar B., Principal, and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Nesni M. Makkar, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmacology. The programme effectively raised awareness among students about maintaining lung health and preventing respiratory diseases.
